General Terms and Conditions

In a desire to keep the small print simple it is really commen sense you book a room for a date you would like at a price that suits and we look after you as best we can!

Buty to cover ourselves please note........All room prices quoted on this site are merely a guide to our starting prices and are based on the room price with breakfast per night during March , April,  May  and October.

From 1st June until 30th September it is classified as summer and our rates will increase by £10 per night per room.

During 2012 the Olympic sailing events are being hosted in Weymouth & Portland and therefore our pricing structure is slightly different from 24th July until 9th September 2012 when a £35 surcharge has been applied to our normal rates during this period only!

At the time of booking any room a 50% deposit must be taken by credit or debit card  to secure any such booking. The 50% is of the total cost of the booking. The remaining 50% of the cost of the booking is payable on arrival at Cornflowers. For our cacelation charges please see our cancelation Policy on this site.

When ordering any items through this website although a credit/debit card will be requested no payment is made and cannot be made without your personal security numbers from your card. ( CCV Number ). We will contact you by phone to ensure that the booking is correct before any such payments will be processed.

Any payments processed by card will be actioned at our Delicatessen The Fridge Fine Foods and therefore any payments made to Cornflowers will show on your records as a payment to The Fridge Fine Foods so please do not panic when seeing such a payment on your statements.

Rooms are described to the best of our ability and pictures illustrate the rooms as you will find them therefore we cannot be held responsible for any issues or upsets with the room features as described. However we are human and will do what ever we can to smooth any issues out to a mutually agreeable conclusion.

We , unlike many local guest houses or hotels will consider 1 night stays but do charge a surcharge of £10 a night for one night stays. Again this year due to the Olympics unfortunately 1 night stays during the following period will not be considered.

The Cerne Abbas suite has a minimum booking of 2 nights and the paragraph above does not apply to that.
